Summer in Switzerland- Leysin American School

This was my first teaching experience working abroad.  I applied for the Summer in Switzerland program and did not teach, but actually worked on the Activities/Recreation Staff for 5 summers, later as the Assistant Recreation Director.  Wonderful experience for teachers who wish to travel and experience a truly multicultural school!  But it requires a pretty energetic soul, because the schedule is demanding! Think school year, with field trips, on STERIODS! haha Best experience of my life!

IREX- Teachers of Global Classrooms

Such an amazing experience so far! Looking forward to applying abroad what I have learned in the online course!

Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program (Fulbright TGC)

I can't say enough about how transformative this experience has been for me personally and professionally. I came back with my teacher batteries charged and ready to explore new ways of integrating global education issues into my classes. Mario Perez, a 2015 TGC alumnus
